Immigrants of different national or ethnic origins, together with members of certain national minorities, often experience severe difficulty in securing jobs or career advancement. Widespread unemployment or discrimination at the workplace is a major obstacle to the successfull integration of immigrant populations.
This publication brings together examples of action which can be taken by management and trade unions to bring about real equality of opportunity for immigrants in the world of work.
