Chaque année, la Cour européenne des droits de l’homme prononce de multiples arrêts et un nombre encore plus élevé de décisions, enrichissant ainsi une jurisprudence déjà abondante. Aussi la tâche consistant à sélectionner les affaires qui sont novatrices sur le plan jurisprudentiel ou qui traitent de questions nouvelles peut-elle s’avérer délicate.

Le présent Aperçu, qui accompagne le Rapport annuel de la Cour, met en lumière les affaires les plus marquantes de l’année 2025, en soulignant leur importance dans l’évolution de la jurisprudence de la Cour. Préparée par la Direction du jurisconsulte, la présente publication dresse également la liste des « affaires phares » qui ont été désignées ainsi par le Bureau de la Cour.
