Les services à la demande : créés à l’image de la télévision ?

 

L'article de fond étudie dans quelle mesure les services de médias audiovisuels à la demande sont en pratique comparables à la télévision traditionnelle, et jusqu’à quel point ces deux types de services se font effectivement concurrence. Il revient sur le champ d’application de la Directive SMAV et analyse des exemples de sa mise en oeuvre au niveau national dans certains Etats membres de l’UE. En outre, il examine les positions adoptées par les autorités de régulation nationales dans plusieurs cas où le champ d’application de la Directive SMAV était peu clair.
