O manual destinase a profissionais do direito não especialistas, juízes, procuradores, autoridades de proteção de menores e outros profissionais e organizações responsáveis por assegurar a proteção jurídica dos direitos da criança. Explica a jurisprudência fundamental e resume as principais decisões do Tribunal de Justiça da União Europeia (TJUE) e do Tribunal Europeu dos Direitos do Homem (TEDH).
