European Social Charter - Fourth report on certain provisions of the Charter which have not been accepted (1998)
In this report, the Committee of Independent Experts set up a detailed analysis on national reports of Contracting Parties of the European Social Charter on non-accepted provisions of the Charter in order to bring light the factors which hinder the acceptance of those standards and to contribute to encouraging new acceptances of the provisions considered.
This fourth report concerns the current law and practice in the field covered by Article 7 para.9 (provision of regular medical control for young workers under eighteen) in Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Ireland and Norway, as well as the Article 19 para.4 (treatment of migrant workers not less favourable than that of nationals in respect of remuneration and other employment and working conditions, trade unions rights and housing) in Austria, Denmark, Iceland and Malta.
